Just Q'in BBQ started with a humble grill, a College Hill neighborhood, and an unshakeable conviction that whatever you do, you do it to the glory of God — 1 Corinthians 10:31. Everything we've built since flows from that.
How we started
We fired up that grill with more faith than equipment and more love than experience. It wasn't a business plan — it was a calling, and we answered it.
The craft we're committed to
Cherry and sugar maple wood. All wood-burning smokers, fresh meat every day, scratch-made sides, house-made rubs and sauces. Our pastrami landed us on the Cooking Channel's Food Paradise — none of it by cutting corners.
People are the point
We're a fair chance employer — everybody is welcome here regardless of background. Through RENEW, we stabilize, equip, and develop every team member for the long haul.
When the president stopped by
In 2024, President Joe Biden made a point to visit Just Q'in. BBQ trail travelers who've eaten through Kansas City and Texas have ranked us above much of what they found there.
